ZeroKey wins ‘Best in Show’ at AdviceTech Catwalk
08/07/24 · By Joseph Williams
On 20 June 2024, co-founders Joseph Williams and Matt Wiltshire demonstrated ZeroKey publicly for the very first time at the inaugural AdviceTech Catwalk – an event by the lang cat which aims to showcase what they consider to be the most exciting tech firms emerging within our profession.
Almost 200 people squeezed into London’s Studio Spaces to watch Avenir, Estgro, Firenze, Saturn and ZeroKey be put under the spotlight. The day involved a quickfire demo and walkthrough of each tech, before receiving questions by both the audience and the expert panel, which included:
- Adrian Durham, founder and group CEO, FNZ
- Alex Cowan-Sanluis, CEO and co-founder, Platform One
- Helena Wardle, founder, Money Means
We were therefore delighted to come away with the ‘Best in Show’ prize. Deciding to develop a brand-new piece of technology and then introduce this publicly comes with its own risks and a degree of trepidation – especially after only 6 months. So to receive external validation in a very public forum from both the expert panel and via the audience vote was incredibly rewarding.
(And on this note, hats off and a shout out to Avenir, Estgro, Firenze and Saturn)
If you would like to watch a copy of the quickfire demo we conducted on the day, please press play on the video at the top of the page. It provides a brief insight into how we intend to achieve our mission, and to quote Mark Polson (CEO of the lang cat), “The thing that I thought set ZeroKey apart was to articulate really cleanly how advisers would use their kit.”
If, after watching the quickfire demo, you would like to find out more or have any questions, please do not hesitate to get in touch. You can also register your interest and stay up to date on everything ZeroKey (including our beta programme).
