Introducing Quick Actions into Quilter
20/05/25 · By Joseph Williams
We are delighted to introduce two brand-new Quick Actions into Quilter, both designed to help reduce manual data entry when adding a new client or conducting a new business application.
Whereas before, those who use Quilter would be required to manually key client data into the platform, this development represents a step in the right direction towards saving time and helping retain data integrity.
Both Quick Actions are compatible with our ever-expanding ecosystem of integrations, which currently includes Xplan, CURO, intelliflo, FinCalc and moneyinfo. They will also be compatible with any future integrations we add.

A Quick Action seeks to reduce the effort involved when conducting certain tasks down to a single click of the mouse. In this case, when adding a client into Quilter, you can use the available Quick Action to populate the ‘add client’ form.
This will eliminate the need for manual data entry by pulling the necessary data from your chosen data source and pushing it into Quilter. Fields such as names, date of birth, and contact information will all be populated.
Again, we assign 0.32 seconds per character of data which flows through ZeroKey. This is how we work out how much time you’ll approximately save. But more importantly, the Quick Action will help you retain data integrity.

When conducting a new business application within Quilter, you’ll be required to manually key client data throughout the 5-stage process. However, your ZeroKey web-extension can help reduce the amount of manual data entry.
Specifically, it can help during stage 2 of the application process. This means, when you arrive at stage 2, rather than manually keying client data into the client details form, you can instead simply use the available Quick Action.
The Quick Action will populate fields such as national insurance number, address, and nationality. You may then be required to select certain fields, such as a client’s additional needs, but the majority of the form will be populated.
Next steps
We recognise achieving our mission of eliminating manual data entry will be a journey. But together, the steps we take today will soon add up to make a significant difference tomorrow.
