Press release, 1 July 2026 – As part of its mission to build innovative solutions that integrate technology and eliminate data rekeying within the UK financial advice market, ZeroKey today announces the upcoming launch of an MCP (Model Context Protocol) connector, enabling financial advice firms to connect their chosen AI tool to their current tech stack via a single connection.
A lack of integration between technology is a silent killer for financial advice firms. As the adoption of AI tools continues to grow, one of the most significant barriers to using them effectively is getting those tools to talk to real-time data. Without access to data, AI tools are limited in the value they can deliver. ZeroKey's MCP directly addresses this challenge by acting as the bridge between a firm's chosen AI tool and its existing technology stack, providing access to real-time data via a single connection.
ZeroKey’s MCP will be available to use with AI tools (such as Claude, Copilot, and ChatGPT), and can be used in conjunction with other available MCP tools and add-ons to further extend capability. Importantly, ZeroKey does not store any client data; instead, the MCP connector acts purely as a conduit, enabling data to move from one technology provider to another without any manual rekeying.
Joseph Williams, co-founder & CEO at ZeroKey, said: “AI will transform our profession, but only if it has frictionless access to appropriate data. ZeroKey’s MCP therefore acts as the plumbing and the pipework to help data flow from your current tech stack to your chosen AI tool, providing what it needs to be valuable. So whenever a financial advice firm believes the time is right for them to plug it together, we are here to help.”
ZeroKey’s MCP represents the company’s third integration solution, sitting alongside its Web Browser Extension and its Integration Platform (iPaaS). While each solution tackles the same underlying problem, they are designed for distinct use cases and audiences, giving firms and technology providers a range of options to suit their specific needs.
