ZeroKey, the web-app with a mission to integrate technology and eliminate the need for financial advisers to manually key data, today launches its MVP (minimum viable product) to beta users.

Joseph Williams, co-founder & CEO of ZeroKey, said: “We started development towards the end of 2023 and we’re very proud to introduce ZeroKey to the market during the summer of 2024. We’re launching with intelliflo as our single source of data, plus various Quick Actions into several technology providers, so it really is an MVP. But we’re very much seeking to prove the concept and looking forward to working closely with our beta users over the next few weeks.”

This announcement follows shortly after the company won ‘Best in Show’ at the lang cat’s inaugural AdviceTech Catwalk. The event, which showcased some of the most exciting and emerging tech firms, saw co-founders Joseph Williams and Matt Wiltshire demonstrate how they intend to use a web-extension to help financial advisers take complete control of their clients’ data and move it freely anywhere, anytime.

The company explained that the ZeroKey web-extension, which can be installed on Google Chrome and Microsoft Edge, places client data at the fingertips of financial advisers regardless of what webpage or web-app they are working on. By simply selecting a source of data, such as intelliflo, they can gain easy access to their clients’ data and move it into other technology providers without any manual data entry. This includes via use of their innovative Quick Action method.

Joseph Williams said: “In a nutshell, a Quick Action is a very smart pre-populate button to help streamline those repetitive tasks which happen every day. For example, when adding a client into a platform, our web-extension will recognise which platform you are working on and what data needs to be entered where. Then, with only a single click, it will pull all the necessary data from your chosen data source and push this into the platform – eliminating the need to manually key data whilst also retaining its integrity.”

ZeroKey – the latest innovation brought to you by the same people who brought you CashCalc – is launching to beta users with a single source of data via its integration with intelliflo. The launch also includes various Quick Actions into FE CashCalc, Fundment, Fintegrate, 7IM, Transact, Oxford Risk, Fidelity and Voyant.

The company stated it does not store any client data and instead simply acts as a conduit between technology A and technology B. They believe financial advisers should have easy access and complete control over their clients’ data, and be able to move it freely to where they want to.
